Hi,

We have 3 floors in our house.

We have boiler in ground floor kitchen, hot and cold work perfectly fine.

Then we had a loft done, the water pressure is slightly lower but still decent both hot and cold work.

We now have had a sink etc put on the 1st floor and the least disruptive way to get water here was to T in from the loft pipes

Issue is that at this floor the tap has the least pressure but cold is very minimal and due to this low flow I think the boiler is not switching on the mechanism to heat the water. I'm wondering what the issue could be?

To add thew are all 15mm pipes I believe. The thing that stands out to me is at 1st for we have the tap which is a pull out I heard these can cause a lot more resistance for the water?

Could this be the reason?

I have plumber coming in a few days but it's driving me crazy thinking we potentially won't have hot water in this room. It will be very difficult to rip out and start again as the room is pretty much done

Any advice on what could the cause be and what I can try?

Many thanks feel free to ask questions
