Do you all require a deposit or card on file before completing a detail for a customer? Currently, I do and with all the scamming in today’s world it makes customers uneasy and we have lost some business to it. Granted some who are not willing to put a card on file aren’t our target customers, but it’s still business. I had to implement it after multiple cancellations/no shows that affected us and took spots from other customers. Trying to navigate around this because it’s becoming more common for us to get ghosted after mentioning this is what’s needed. We provide them our cancellation policy (which is very customer friendly) and then ask them to fill out the card on file. It’s through our third party processor and everything is as legal and legit as could be. We can’t control who trusts us and who doesn’t, but I’d love to hear some other ideas.

Was performing a detail on my car and realized once I was finished these water spots weren’t going away no matter what I did. They seem to be etched into the glass. I have tried clay towel, G-Tech water spot remover, glass cleaner, etc and have gotten zero results. I am thinking about getting Sonax glass polish because I’ve seen it works. However, I don’t have a polisher. I have a RYOBI buffer that I use for waxing. Would that work? Or could I remove these with a microfiber and some elbow grease?
