I went to lacrosse unlimited to get three of my heads strung and it came out to 220 in total, which I felt was a little ridiculous. Is it worth it to learn how to string heads and how long does it take to string one?

I just bought a Mark 2f to do faceoffs and I wanted to dye it teal with RIT dye. I boiled the water and everything and it didn’t pick it up really at all. Is there any reason for this? I dyed both my defensive heads last year but at the time I think I had already used them both prior to dying them.
