someone said yesterday my voltage rectifier maybe short circuiting because my main fuse blows the moment it’s replaced. I took a multimeter and tested my voltage rectifier pins and every reading was in between 0.3-0.5v, I tested the pins in the connector for the voltage rectifier and every one was in between 0.3-0.8v except one pin which somehow read between 11.7-13v. I thought me not having a fuse in would cause a misreading but after testing my voltage rectifier I tested my battery, starter motor, the spot that holds the main fuse and starter solenoid and they all read 12.6v.
does that mean that my voltage rectifier alone is bad or could it mean that there is another problem thats causing it to go bad?

do anybody have any idea what could be wrong?

I replaced my battery terminal and cleaned some corrosion on my terminal that connects to my cdi box and I went to swap my main fuse to see if my motorcycle would turn on and the dash lit up but when I plugged my voltage regulator in my fuse blew. I took out the voltage regulator and went to put in another fuse and it sparked and blew before I could fully put it in. I had to disconnect my battery for the fuse to not instantly blow but the moment the battery is connected the fuse is shot. I also checked my multimeter and idk if this means anything but my battery was 12v, the connection from my battery to my main fuse was 12v and from my battery to the right side of my starter solenoid was 12v but when I went to the left side it went down to 5v
