Hey guys…..I think I made a mistake.

I went into the store to purchase a Horizon treadmill but the salesperson was so convincing and adamant that the Bowflex was far superior because both are technically the same machines now but Bowflex is newer with a touchscreen that requires no subscription or wifi to operate. (Wifi is only needed if you want to watch netflix or youtube but to simply operate the treadmill you can do it without wifi)

Before researching I found no flaws with the Bowflex as it is still relatively new, so bit the bullet and bought it.

Now, it will be delivered in 2 weeks time but I am worried I got a sub-par treadmill. I was going to get the Horizon 7.4

I saved up for a treadmill for MONTHS and I don’t do well with large purchases.

Now I can’t sleep because the treadmill isnt here, I’m $3000 out and researching I have found a few negative reviews and the 90% positive reviews are coming from people who I believe are paid to review….

Anyone with experience can help me.

Got this from Treadmill Factory in Mississauga.

I am afraid I can no longer change my decision now….I dont know if I can go back and get a return to get the Horizon….

I spent $3000 Canadian which includes tax, delivery and setup, and a mat

I am so confused and stressed. If this treadmill will last me at least 5-6 years I will be happy!

Hello!

I am going tomorrow to get a treadmill and need an answer ASAP!!

We went a few days ago to see the treadmills at a local shop.

My budget was under $3000 Canadian

After looking around and talking with the salesperson we are stuck on 2 treadmills

  1. Horizon 7.4 (since 7.8 is out of stock) at $1999

  2. Bowflex T16 at $2799

Both have identical specs 3.5 motor, 22x60 belt, 15 incline, 12 speed, almost identical warranties etc.

Horizon Pros:

- no touchscreen (so maybe will last longer?)

-$800 cheaper

Bowflex pros:

- touchscreen to watch Netflix/youtube

- great speakers

- good fan positioning

- Less Bulky!

Feel on both treadmills is the same. I want to go with horizon because of the $800!! But partner and children like the touchscreen…..

Heard bowflex went bankrupt and now has come out with better machines but dont know if touchscreen will last at least 5 years.

We will using this in a small apartment so horizon’s bulkiness is kind of off putting.

My kids need to get more active and I feel they will definitely like the Bowflex with touchscreen more as I hate putting tablets on shaky treadmills.

Many people outright say NO TOUCHSCREENS!!

But those reviews are old and maybe technology has advanced? I have no idea.

Please help!!
