I bought my first Al-Marah filly!
I’ve owned Arabians my entire life, and it has always been a dream of mine to own an Al-Marah. I have been privileged to own off-the-tracks Arabs, including one for about 15 years. However, he is now 20, and I’m slowly winding down his career to lush pastures, trail rides, and camping trips over the next 4-5 years (or whenever he’s ready),
I primarily do endurance and trail riding. Al-Marahs are practically a myth where I live (east coast USA), and a very close friend happened to have connections to an Al-Marah stallion with Sea Captain/Crabbet lineage. Her mother is Al Khamsa, tracing back to the Bendouin.
It’s such an honor to be able to own something like this! My dad passed away in October, so this feels like the universe being kind to me.
