I wasn’t sure where exactly to put this, but I’ve been reevaluating an occurrence that I had originally brushed off as another deity, and I was wondering what the chances are that it could’ve been Khonsu.
When I was a teenager, I was not in a good familial situation, and my mother had me unwillingly admitted to the psych unit at our hospital. It was an overall awful experience, but the entire time I was strangely comforted by very fever-dream sort of visions of the moon every night until I was discharged.
At the time, I had assumed it was Hekate, the greek goddess of witchcraft, who I worked with at the time and to this day, but thinking back, I’m not so sure.
The dreams were so vivid that for the first two nights, I had assumed that I could actually just see the moon- But upon further inspection, it wasn’t something I could see from my room.
The dreams were just of the moon, in varying stages of fullness. I never saw any figures, human or otherwise. I can’t remember much more, as this has been quite a few years now, but if there are any clarifying questions, I’ll do my best to answer, as I’m really curious for a second opinion on whether or not this could have been Khonsu.
Thank you :))
