Would a CLINIC v. Rubio Win Help Palestinian CR-1 Cases or Not?
Trying to understand the possible impact of CLINIC v. Rubio on Palestinian CR-1 cases.
From what I’ve read, the lawsuit mainly challenges the 75-country visa freeze, while Palestinian Authority travel document holders may still be restricted separately under Proclamation 10998.
Has anyone seen any legal analysis, attorney comments, internal embassy movement, or actual cases suggesting PA applicants could still benefit indirectly if CLINIC wins? Or would PA cases likely remain paused unless there’s a separate challenge or policy change?
