I’m a 28F and I wanted to share an update because I’ve finally taken the step and ordered a hair growth helmet.
I’ve gone with the Grow Laser Cap after spending a lot of time comparing it with KIERR and iRestore. From everything I’ve read, it seems to sit in a very similar category in terms of laser strength and diode count, and overall is considered competitive with both — just with different design and pricing.
A bit about my journey:
I’ve been dealing with hair thinning over the last couple of years, mainly at the front and part line. I’ve used minoxidil on and off during this time, but consistency has honestly been one of my biggest struggles over the past year.
I also tried PRF treatments and did about six sessions. I actually saw visible improvement and some regrowth during that time, which gave me a lot of hope. Unfortunately, I had to stop due to cost reasons.
After reading more into low-level laser therapy, studies, and a lot of personal experiences here, I’ve decided to combine the Grow Laser Cap with minoxidil again and really try to stay consistent for at least the next 6 months.
I’m not expecting miracles, but I’m hoping for:
reduced shedding
improved density
and hopefully some regrowth over time
