Transmission System Error

I’ve been reading about other people having this issue and a lot of yall have been saying your battery would die completely first which mine did but I didn’t realize I could’ve got a new one under warranty so I ended up paying out of pocket for it. Should I ask the dealership for reimbursement? Would they even do it?

And then it was the same song that everyone else seems to be singing, battery died now I get the transmission system error popping up. Now here’s my problem, I have extended warranty to 150,000 miles, I’m currently at like 130,000. For one I don’t think they’re gonna wanna replace my transmission when I’m so close to the end of my warranty, I feel like I’m definitely going to get the run around ON TOP OF I do not trust my dealership.

I had a 2016 Hyundai sonata that I bought from them used, took it for an oil change and they didn’t put my oil cap back on right thus my oil leaked out and engine started knocking so I was forced to trade it in and get the sonata. Mind you my sonata is expensive asf I went from a $300 car payment to a $900, and they don’t give af. It was either that or a Kia soul and EW.

Anyways my points is I do not even trust them to touch my car at all, I have an appt today at 4 & I’m sure I’ll get the bs of them saying nothings wrong with it. OH SIDE NOTE THAT I FORGOT ABOUT, my engine started overheating not too long into me having it maybe like 3-6 months of owning it so I took it in & they said “nothings wrong” it still overheats 3 years later. Do I threaten legal action when I go in? Do I take it in at all knowing they’re gonna bs me? What do I do at this point?
