Hi all,

I work for a MNC and got my sponsorship with them in 2022 July, I’d have been eligible for ILR next year if everything was same, but that’s not the case now. My salary is £45k ans I tried to speak to my company but as it’s an MNC there’s no clear person to speak to about it and the managers above me are just employees like me as well so they couldn’t do much other than asking me to contact relevant team.

So after some tries in contacting the teams relevant to this, I’m not sure If they’ll up the salary to meet the new threshold for ILR. I am having thoughts of switching companies if someone sponsors but looking at the market I’m very doubtful I’ll get one.

Is it worth trying to switch job or I’d rather stay and try with my current company ?

Advice please

Hi all,

Not trying to start a debate or anything. Just want to understand in terms of Skilled worker visas and legal immigration, which party is more favourable and would be better if they win the elections for people like us. Also if possible tell the reason why,

Thanks
