Hi everyone,

I’m in the UK and my NatWest current account has been frozen under a “24–48 hour review”.

What happened:

My salary was paid into this NatWest account for the first time (this is now my main account)

I also received £300 from my brother

I tried to withdraw £300 cash and it was declined

After that, I lost access to my account in the app

I called NatWest and they said the account is under review for “cashflow verification” and should be resolved within 24–48 hours, possibly by tomorrow around 5pm.

This is my main account and I currently have all my money in it.

Has anyone experienced this before?

How long did it actually take in your case?

Is there any way to speed up the review or escalate it?

Any advice would really help
