Help me find this book!!
Hi reddit, ive looked up everything i can think of! I read a bit of this book at a public library and I forgot the title !!@,÷\*@,= it's about a girl who was living in all woman society or wild society in the woods/forest. It starts with her believing the mist/fog protects them, she runs to alarm the others about potential intruders by making an animal sound but she runs too far out of the mist and gets taken by what I assume are cops (they had flashlights, guns and dogs). Her father I think took her back into society and she has a half sister (?). Idk what the book is please help ☹️☹️!!
Edit: I stopped right when she was taking prom pictures with her new sister who she said didn't like her. She had a prom date but she didn't like him.
