Can I contribute to ROTH ira now, way after the tax deadline? I did taxes using Turbotax but it did not ask me to contribute to ROTH. I just remembered that I might be eligible, no matter what TTax said.

So, can I contribute now, or has the ship sailed? If I can contribute, do I need to amend the return?
