Hey yall, I’m having trouble on deciding where to go for a trip from July 26th to August 3rd. Our budget is about $3000-3500 for this trip and we will be driving to the destination. Our interests include hiking, whitewater rafting, finding swimming holes, exploring water features, and mountain/rock formation sightseeing. As for places we’ve been and enjoyed these activities include Sequoia Natl Park in California, Great Smoky Mountains in NC and Tennessee, Congaree Natl Park in South Carolina, Everglades Natl Park in Florida, Porcupine Wilderness State Park in Michigan. I am fine with any advice towards where I should go to maximize my vacation time. As for my options on places to go.
Rocky Mountain Natl Park (Colorado, USA)
Boundary Waters/Voyageurs Natl Park, (Minnesota, USA and possibly into Ontario, Canada) (All members of my group have passports)
**Adirondack Park (New York, USA) (**I could also use advice on other state parks to go to around the area)
Monongahela Natl Forest and Shenandoah Natl Park (Virginia and West Virginia, USA)
Pisgah Natl Forest and Great Smoky Mountains Natl Park (North Carolina, USA)
Thank you for helping me out and I hope you have a wonderful day.
