IVF - Military
Hello!
I’ll try to make this short.
Husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He’s active military. He had bilateral removal.
Thankfully we froze a few viles prior to removal.
Insurance, particularly TRICARE makes this a nightmare.
Typically they don’t cover IVF but I’ve been told that due to his diagnosis (cancer) and unable to procreate now and active military, that they can possibly cover the IVF process for me (his civilian wife).

I went to the fertility clinic and had a sonogram and L is 12 and R is 17 follicles/eggs?
I’m 32- and his 31.

The drafted a cash offer and it’s prettt expensive. It’s been so rough going back and forth between insurance and the clinic. The clinic saying Tricare doesn’t cover it and Tricare saying yes but that they need authorizations.
Ugh
I’m so confused, lost, this is exhausting.

For those in military — did you get coverage for IVF or if you can share your journey and or any other tips.
I’m exhausted 😩
