Currently on PS5(Slim) 9.40 fw using Y2JB. Lately I’ve been using the itsPLK Autoloader BD-JB disc method after running the BD-JB unpatch because it’s been much more stable for me.

I’m considering updating to 10.01. I already understand that BD-JB won’t work after the update unless I run the unpatch process again.

My main concern is about the disc drive pairing. If I update from 9.40 to 10.01, will the update unpair my disc drive in any way, or is the pairing information preserved? Fyi my ps5 slim disc drive already came paired from the factory.

Just trying to confirm before I do anything risky.
