i quit
i have been physically assaulted, threatened, verbally abused all year. there is never any support. never any change. yesterday, my students were crying and begging to get the bully out of our class. she was harassing many of them with disgusting sexual comments. she was threatening to hurt me and my main teacher. we got her out of the room and she tried to kick the door down.
no consequences. she was let back into class by admin like nothing happened and the rest of the students were crying and begging us to do something because they don’t feel safe.
i can’t do it anymore. i quit. i want to help these kids but i can’t. i’ve done everything. i’ve complained to the principal, the union, everyone about the bullying and nothing happens. so i quit. i started applying to state jobs and i will never step foot in a school ever again.
