Hope I'm not the only one but I love stitching I just don't like the finished pieces... I enjoy making patterns, preparing materials, doing all the actual stitching but I think finished cross stitched pieces are just not that attractive (or at the very least definitely not my style!) I've tried a variety of different pattern styles but nothing I've made (or seen in charity shops for example) is something I would want to display in my home. I also don't feel like I can gift them because I feel like if I don't want it in my house then other people wouldn't want it in theirs..... Because of this I've been doing a few smaller pieces for fridge magnets etc but I would like to do a bigger project again but it just seems a bit pointless when I wouldn't want to display it! Anyone else in this situation? What do you do?
