Picked her up a week ago. My first car and I’m in love already. Beautiful color and with the R-design and leather seats it feels like a relatively modern luxury car. She’s got some power (213 hp) as well 😅
Some people thought the exhaust isn’t stock, maybe it’s because they’re not used to the 5 cil. I’m not sure, I only really got into researching cars and 2010-2017 Volvos specifically when looking for an attractive, fun, reliable, and comfortable second-hand hatchback.
150.000km on her now, planning to ride her out. All the maintenance was done in time and the timing belt and waterpump have been replaced just before I picked it up.
The shifts don’t feel very nice though. Not shocky per se but I feel like it’s not sure which gear to pick sometimes. I have an appointment in almost 2 months to check it out, but not sure if I should try to plan it sooner. I have read that the 6-speed geartronic is not the most smooth and snappy automatic, but very reliable. I’m used to a 2012 sharan -s-something and the sharan would be a tad more shocky if I had to compare it… I’m not sure if it’s supposed to feel like this or if I should get it checked out sooner. Any info or tips are more than welcome 🙏🏻
