Hey guys!
Totally my fault and I really should have double checked, but when I was designing my cotton T shirt through my Etsy shop, I used Printify's recommended AI. I'm very new, and only got products up within the last 2 weeks, so I wasn't sure what to look for. I just used the AI description because it was really pushy about it with multiple pop ups. So I decided why not, because it was claiming my listing would rank better.
Well, in the description for a T shirt, it described the T shirt as medium weight. Just got a message from a customer that bought it, and the tag clearly says heavy weight. So when I went to see what happened, I realized the AI description got it completely wrong. The title for the product on Printify's shop says it's a heavy weight cotton, but the description says medium material. However, the AI read that as medium weight and described my item as such through the Printify listing that I then connected to Etsy.
I did put in a ticket for a refund with what went wrong. I really hope they are honorable and refund it, because this whole fiasco was frustrating.
Here is the Printify listing that the AI messed up.
This is the photo with the AI description through Printify's AI:
Anyway, be extra vigilant that the description of the item isn't messed up if you decide to go their recommended route like I did.
