I have just come back to Starfield after many years with the new DLC release. However, I cannot seemingly find a list of mods that work. Every time I try I either get CTD whenever I try to start a new game or it just goes into an endless load screen.

To cover, yes I've ensured I have all required mods, I believe they work with the version of the game I'm currently on though that is hard to tell.

Now I've also seen conflicting arguments about SFSE. Some say it is ok to use and others that say it's old/out dated and that any mod that requires it is also likely outdated and won't work with the game. Any help or shedding light on understanding all of this would be greatly appreciated.
