I’ve always liked journaling, but I never felt fully comfortable putting personal thoughts into apps that require accounts or sync everything to the cloud.

So I built Vaulta — a simple, offline-first journal where everything stays on your device.

No login. No tracking. No subscriptions.

It’s designed to feel like something you can rely on long-term:

Works completely offline after install

Stores everything locally

Fast, distraction-free writing

Full export anytime (your data is yours)

I’m planning to add optional paid features later (like encrypted backups and media entries), but the core journaling will always stay free and usable.

This is still an early version, so I’d really appreciate honest feedback — especially from people who care about privacy.

You can try it here: vaulta-ten-cyan.vercel.app

What would make you trust a journaling app like this?
