It's true that L may not have sufficient info to conclude the culprit but extra manga chapter suggests he is capable to solving a murder case without any clues.

Moreover, >!even if we consider multiple misdirections Beato formulated in a way that every family member could be deduced as the culprit, !<I think a top tier detective like L can still comprehend and see through such traps.

It would be even easier for L if he were to be in Battler's position imo.

I respect and understand any opinion that says L fails but I can't imagine him getting no diffed.

The challenge is to create the weakest character while only using High Tiers. Pls try to think of a high tier character who's the weakest in the corresponding categories.

I won't be rigid on the criteria for high tier and I will always consider the highest upvoted comment as the winner (The number of comments for said character is irrelevant)

Context (Skip if you have read the manga)

1. Ryomen Sukuna has slashing attacks named Dismantle. In Chap 236 , Sukuna learns to evolve his Dismantle to be able to cut the world itself, hence naming it "World Cutting Slash" (WCS for short)

2. Gojo Satoru has an ability called Infinity, which infinitely slows any incoming substance, effectively defending him against most travelling objects. However this can be countered by a Domain Expansion.

3. Sukuna's WCS is able to bypass Infinity due to its property of targeting the world itself.

4. Gojo dies due to him letting his guard down and not dodging WCS

Now, the Analysis:

During their fight, Sukuna is seen firing a regular Dismantle at Gojo. Of course, since Gojo had his Infinity on, it didn't do anything. But this was for a reason.

Sukuna wasn't just wasting his CE Reserve. He was actually manipulating Gojo's subconscious mind to let his guard down against a regular Dismantle in the future.

By showing Gojo that regular Dismantle cannot work against him, it effectively reminded Gojo that there was no other way of Sukuna harming him via Dismantle with the exception of Domain (Malevolent Shrine).

Sukuna did this before Mahoraga showed him the model of World Cutting Slash, meaning Sukuna prepared for a future where he would be at an advantage if he could evolve his Dismantle to bypass Infinity.

Gojo, at the end of Chapter 235 having recovered via black flash and having Infinity on, let his guard down against Sukuna's desperate Dismantle because he had been safe against a similar attack before. Moreover, Sukuna was in no condition to open a Domain Expansion.

Infinity basically gave Gojo the sense of security against Dismantle after Sukuna showed him early in the fight how it protects Gojo from Dismantle.
