Curious to see what everyone's take is on this. Do88 vs elevate, in regard to intake and charge pipe setup. Both brands have their own respective combination, i believe do88 is supposedly the "high power gain" go to, but ive heard a lot of good things from elevate in the same regard. Personally I think elevates setup looks way better, but its generally disclosed that do88 is the better system. Anyone running either of the two's full setups? Which do yall prefer.

2005 V50 T5 AWD. I noticed a bad metallic squealing coming from my front pass brakes so I took my wheel off, took the brakes apart, and found that the sound was coming from my heat shield, one of the bolts had wiggled loose and allowed the heat shield to grind against my rotor and shredded it. No damage to rotor.
Fast forward, I put everything back together, made sure the brake components were snug and as they should be. I also checked my suspension components to make sure nothing got damaged for whatever reason just to be safe. Everything is as should be.
However upon taking the car for a test drive to confirm no more squealing, this sound popped up. Its like a thumping from my front pass wheel, it happens when accelerating, but especially bad when braking. I then went back and took the wheel off and reinspected everything to make sure i didnt miss anything, and sure enough, everything was still as should be. It seems to me like this issue is coming from something brake related. I thought maybe it could've been cv axle but I did the full lock turn method to see if sound still happens and it doesnt only when driving and braking so again im thinking it could be brake or wheel related but im at a loss since everything is as it should be. Anyone have this issue before? Or know what it is
UPDATE: some fucking way some fucking how, my passenger side top mount bolts weaseled their way loose and the strut was slapping the bottom of the strut tower. Checked the threads and theyre completely cooked. So I have ordered new top mounts for the struts and will replace them. Problem solved lol
Hey all, im stumped on an issue that kind of just popped up. My 05 V50 T5 AWD. This sound randomly popped up while driving and im unsure what it is. I did the classic full lock turning test for cv axle diagnostic and there was no indication of bad axles. However while driving and ESPECIALLY when braking there is this weird like thumping sound. I dont know what it would be, I checked the brake caliper assembly made sure everything was tight and as should be, I checked the wheel and suspension, everything is as should be. It feels like its coming from the front pass wheel, and given that it happens especially bad when braking i assumed it might be brake related but given everything looks as it should its kind of left me puzzled.
Looking for a pair of rear lowering springs for my 05 awd t5, only the rears lol. Ive got my front end sorted out but for the rear im needing lowering springs to go with my bilsteins. Not looking for any crazy spring rates just looking for low. Ill get my spring rates sorted after I get my KW's in after the summer. I have a set of 04-11 S40/V50 FWD only coilovers that I recently purchased, however at time of purchase my dumbass didnt confirm awd fitment. They dont fit awd models so I cannot use them unfortunately. Im looking to offload them, the vendors return policy is absurd and id pay almost a third of what I paid back to them in shipping and restock fees to return them. Not looking to get retail by any means. If anyone has a fwd 04-11 s40 or v50 and wants a good deal on some brand new in box never fitted coilovers feel free to pm me. I am in southern california, I may be able to ship depending how far as well. Cheers lads
This is my 05 awd m66 t5. I recently threw a picture of my car into gemini and asked it to replace my wheels with the oem 18in nebula wheels commonly found on p2 models. Does anyone know of a good source for these where I can cop a good quality set without breaking my bank? A guy in my area was selling a set for 280$ with damn near new tires a few days ago but unfortunately he for some reason left my message about buying them on read for 2 days then sold them to someone else so I missed out on the opportunity. Lmk if you guys know of anything!
