Historically accurate tudors
I don’t know if this is the right sub since it seems like it’s mostly superhero stuff, but the tudor sub does not allow fan casting posts, so I decided to post it here
I would one day really love to see a historically accurate adaptation of Henry VIII’s reign and his 6 wives, and also his legacy and the reigns of his kids (Mary I, Elizabeth I, Edward VI) so I thought it would be fun to imagine the cast
I feel like a young Domhnall Gleeson looks a lot like how I picture young Henry VIII (with the reddish hair and blue eyes), and in that case his dad would be a good choice for when he’s old (post-accident)
Also, I feel like I’ve never seen this fan cast but red head Tilda Swinton would make an amazing Elizabeth I (put a picture of her in the movie Orlando so you can see the vision in more historical clothing)
I know this is very much imaginary since obviously Domhnall Gleeson does not look like this anymore (the picture is from 2006 lol). But what do you guys think?
(Also this casting is 100% look based, I’ve not seen nearly enough of Domnhall and Brendans acting to know how well they would actually pull off these roles)
