I just realized I’ve been getting emails from “NES debt collectors” saying I owe over $15,000 to some company called Barings Skills Lending Trust but when I look them up it’s a company that gives loans to businesses, which I do not have. I have never even heard of that company. These emails have been coming for months apparently but I just now noticed them.

Is this real? Does that company give loans for anything else? The only thing I could possibly have that much debt from is student loans but I only took one private loan in college and it was for way less than $15,000.
