Has anyone transitioned to an instructor's position on a military base? I have a friend who works in Career and Faculty Development on base and loves it. They have never been a public school teacher and are career military, but from what they have shared, it is very different than teaching.

But.. I am tempted to give it a try. I have overhauled my resume to reflect such a career change and am now just waiting for something to open. I am a little worried that I will miss the creativity, but I think I am ready for something slower and more structured. I am just wondering if anyone has experience or insight. Thanks!
