(Sorry this is my fist reddit post if formatting is wrong)

So, I saw some of these in store when I was traveling, tested it with a swipe on my arm where one usually tests foundations, and I have really red skin, it was just a quick swipe but it (the 200 I think it was) appeared too light and the next shade down was too dark. My question is if it just doesn’t color match as well for people with more of a red skin tone or if I just didn’t test it properly?

For reference for my skin tone, I use Shade 01 (N) of Clinque’s perfectly real makeup liquid foundation at the moment and depending on the day it could be a bit dark for my skin (yes, I am aware of how pale that makes me, but it’s usually during winter when it’s too dark)
