I'm trying to plan my trip and want to figure out the best way to get from Karangasem (we'll be at Lahangan Sweet) to the Gili Islands. Is Padang Bai the closest port to boat from or is there something closer?

My girlfriend and I will be traveling to Bali and I’d like some help planning some excursions. We’ll be based in Ubud for a while and want to see Banyumala, Leke Leke, and/or Sekumpul, as well as visit Lahangan Sweet at sunrise, all before taking a boat to Nusa Penida.
Ubud -> Waterfalls -> Lahangan Sweet -> NP
My question is, would it be better to stay somewhere either up north or east for a night and use that as our base to visit the waterfalls and LS from, or simply take day trips out of Ubud to visit everything and ferry out from there?
If we do end up staying in or leaving from LS, are there any ports closer than Sanur that could take us to NP as well?

My girlfriend and I will be traveling to Bali in June and I was curious how people recommend splitting up time across the different areas. Below is our base plan as of now. I'd love to hear any recommendations on additional places to see, which places we can spend more/less time in, etc. Thanks!
Uluwatu - 4 nights
Ubud - 7 nights
Nusa Penida - 3 nights
Gili Islands - 3 nights
+3 extra nights which we could use to add to these, another area, or not use
