I made a little macOS screensaver called MacDefrag, for anyone who gets weirdly nostalgic about old DOS disk defragmenters.

It does not make your SSD faster. It does not fix your filesystem. It does not improve your productivity.

What it does do is fill your screen with a lovingly fake retro defrag display: blue DOS-style colors, animated disk clusters, progress bars, status text, and the comforting illusion that your computer is doing something extremely technical and important.

Perfect for retro-PC fans, old-school nerds, or anyone who thinks “watching colored blocks move around” counts as entertainment.

Guten Morgen,

Wollte gestern unser Gartenwasser wieder anstellen. Der neue Zähler und die entsprechenden Rohre dazu wurden am 4.7.2025 verbaut. Hat dann auch den Sommer über alles funktioniert, im Herbst dann alles abgedreht.

Nun leckt das ganze sofort beim aufdrehen. Die Dame vom Sanitär-Betrieb meinte aber: „Da ist nichts mit Regress. Hat ja schließlich schon mal funktioniert!“

Ist die Aussage korrekt so? Was wird mich sowas kosten?
