Facing a major issue with my CUET UG 2026 application and really need help/advice.
My brother was helping me fill my CUET application because I was having issues. My live photo was failing again and again during the application - it just wouldn’t get captured no matter how many times we tried.
My brother was actually somewhere else, but he was guiding me on call. At the end, with only a few minutes left before the deadline, we still couldn’t get my live photo to work. Since time was almost over and the form wouldn’t submit without a photo, we panicked.
So at the last moment we decided: we’ll upload his photo, just to submit the form, and then correct it during the correction window. We genuinely thought NTA would allow photo correction later like other details.
But when the correction window opened, there was no option at all to change the uploaded photo. Later NTA gave a form, but that was only for live photo re-capture, not for the main uploaded photo on the admit card.
Now my admit card has my brother’s photo, though my name, DOB, signature and all other details are 100% correct and mine.
Really worried: Will I be allowed inside the exam centre if I go with my original Aadhaar, PAN, 12th marksheet, recent photos of myself, and a notarized affidavit explaining this whole situation?
This was not cheating - we were just desperate to submit the form before the portal closed after wasting so much time on the failed live photo. I’ve been preparing for CUET all year.
Has anyone faced this? Did NTA or the centre superintendent allow entry after verification? Please help 😔
