Okay before you downvote because the hy300 pro is a piece of shit clanker and whatever problem i get from it is to be expected. Not to mention how i even got some suspicious fake from tiktok shop to boot. I dont know the brand name because the symbol has a really weird font
I want to ask if this is really a known issue. Because I expected a poor quality projector, but for it to come with huge security risks is a whole new problem that i naively didnt expect.
I signed into netflix and youtube on it, and then it broke in like two days so i threw it away, unable to sign out of it. Then just yesterday, both my netflix and youtube account were compromised. Someone uses my netflix, and my youtube account is being used to make botted views on youtube livestreams.
I dont think this could happen by my projector landing into the wrong hands after i threw it away, as i disposed of it in a electric waste government bin, and it legitimately cannot turn on even after i attempted repairs.
So i suspect this projector may have come with malware that stole my log in data and are using it rn.
Is this a fair assessment and does anyone have any experience or info regarding this? I found very few online discourse but not zero on malware and the hy300 projector but only from magcubic. But there’s a new issue now where a bunch of fakes are flooding the tiktok shop market and more.
