Where to make friends? New army!

Hi, everyone,

I was just wondering if there are any places to make friends with other army, so I figured I would start here!

I got into BTS a month ago by pure fluke. I knew little about them (had only heard Dynamite and Butter), but I’m actually big into Korean movies and I’m currently learning Korean.

This led to a friend telling me to check out the 2.0 music video because it’s inspired by the Korean movie Oldboy. So, I did a reaction to it on my YouTube channel (which was supposed to be movie based, as I’m a former film critic), and it got a decent amount of views.

From there, my channel has transformed into a BTS reaction channel and I’ve absolutely loved learning about them. I’ve enjoyed their music so much. I am also taken aback by their incredibly deep lyrics, symbolism, discussion of social issues, and music videos that feel like a movie.

I’ve also started watching Run BTS! And I love it. I’ve been going through a hard time in my life and feel like I have found BTS when I needed them the most (as weird as that may sound).

A bit about me: I’m 36, f, and live in Texas (but I’m from England originally). Oh, and Namjoon is my biased 😝 if you’d like to chat feel free to reach out to me!

Did anyone have severe, constant chest pressure? It’s in the breast area and below in the middle. It never goes away.

It always makes me feel like I’m having a heart issue. It’s so uncomfortable and I just can’t live like this. It’s way worse lying down :(

Has anyone ever used the Maum or Connecting app? I've noticed something...

I am a beginner in Korean but I have been using these apps to try and get better with speaking. However, I have noticed on Maum that whenever I request Koreans to speak they decline it every single time. I have also used Connecting but as soon as they know I am a foreigner (even though I speak in Korean), they hang up. I am just curious if anyone has had the same? It makes me feel a bit disheartened.

Is it just luck sometimes? YT no longer showing videos to anyone.

Hi, all,

I have been doing YouTube properly for about a month now. My first video did ok for a new video (2k), and the ones after that would be getting around 1k-1.6k. Then, randomly, YT stopped showing my videos to barely anyone.

The CTR is still super high, so I can only assume it is showing a very small sample of people who like my niche. However, my videos have gone from like 100 views within the first hour, to like 2-4 in the first hour.

It's just a bit frustrating with such a random drop-off when I have no clue what happened. I haven't done anything else differently. Has anyone else had the same issue?

I see other channels who do the exact same thing as me niche wise, and one of them is already monetized after a month. I just don't know what I am doing wrong.

Did a CT scan with contrast detect your cancer?

I have been having concerning symptoms for years now and can't figure out what it is. A recent ct scan with contrast didn't show anything. Weirdly enough, it didn't even mention my stomach in the report. I am assuming if anything stood out they would have told me. I am just wondering if I still need to go down this road or if the ct scan would basically rule it out. I had two ct scans with contrast 7 months apart, neither showed anything.

I started a channel in December but got busy with the holidays. I came back to upload something different two weeks ago, and that video (which was my third overall) got about 2.5k views.

I have gained 137 followers in a couple of weeks which I thought was pretty decent for a new channel, but my last few videos have completely fallen off. Before that I was getting about 600-2.3k views every couple of days, but my latest videos are stuck on like 40 views after almost 2 days. Has anyone had the same thing happen to them?
