Woman can see her dating future

I just finished "I Know How This Ends" by Holly Smale and I feel like I read an *incredibly* similar book in the last four years.

I think the woman is living with her best friend but her friend decides to move in with her boyfriend so she gets a new roommate who's a guy, sees a few years into the future that they're together and they have a kid, the guy becomes either a movie director or an actor(?) I want to say she's a screenwriter, then later she sees that they divorce (because he cheated on her with someone on a movie set?), she sees their futures with other people, then iirc they get back together? I've scrolled through my Goodreads and asked Google and can't figure it out. Help?

This is probably a dumb question, but I'm gonna ask anyway. I've tried adding chocolate chips to my cake bread recipe in the past, but every time the chips just melt into the dough and disappear. I make it as a chocolate bread with chocolate cake mix, so it's not a huge deal, but I really would like to nail this adding chocolate chips to bread thing.

My partner thinks if I add the chips straight from the freezer they might survive, my concern is that the temp of the chips will bring down the dough temperature and mess up the rise.\

Can someone weigh in and tell me who's right?

*photo is my cake bread recipe, for visibility and in case anyone is interested. I basically took the bread Dad recipe and modified it because the original recipe (imo) is altogether *too* sweet. (note next to sugar looks cropped off, should read "not more than 12g or dough too wet")

I got our first bread machine (a Williams Sonoma brand) at the thrift last fall for $23 and I've been using it weekly or more often every since. Today, totally on a whim, I hit our local thrift and hit the motherlode of nineties nostalgia in the cd section (picked up several CDs I had in high school that were in better condition than my CDs ever were lol) and randomly decided to check the kitchen section...\

and found this beaut (Zojirushi BBCC-S15A) from the nineties! It powers on and preheats; haven't tried making bread in it yet but I'm feeling positive about it working since all the accessories were in there. And only $7!!
