▲ 33 r/DACA
Just entered on EAP via JFK. I traveled for work.
Even though this is my 3rd AP travel, it was still nerve wrecking. Secondary inspection took a little longer than other times. I had to get more detailed fingerprints taken in a separate room and then we walked to the cashier’s booth to pay the fee.
The officer was so nice and as he was taking the fingerprints said “If it was for me, you wouldn’t have to do this. But I don’t make the laws”.
I also overhead him talking to the other officer about DACA, something along the lines like “this makes no sense. Got people in this country for 27+ years…”
Anyway, always a scary process but glad to be back.
