Need help regarding my task

Hi, guy from claim center dev team here. Small query- when the payment made on last exposure and is is final payment then the exposure and claim should close automatically.

In my case it is closing for manual exposures but not closing for automatic exposures.
They said it is OOTB behavior but this one I am unable to figure it out how to debug as well.
Open to suggestions
