Hi folks.

So I got a brand new Mazda2 2026 iSport (Automatic) in December 2025.

I’d say around March 26’ I started noticing like pulling or “hiccups” when breaking between 2nd and 1st (full stop).

I can recreate this by standing still and switching between 2nd and 1st in Manual mode.

I’m scared this might be a serious problem although on local forums I’ve seen it is “common” in SkyActiv Transmissions although it’s hard to say to what extent.

I’ve even tried the “transmission reset” steps you can find on YouTube with no luck.

It’s very annoying and other than that there’s nothing wrong with the car. Except I had to have the steering wheel re-aligned as it came crooked brand new! Lol
