It's been 1 year!

I had my stroke on May 6, 2025 and let me tell you this has been the longest/shortest year of my life! I guess my message is to just keep moving. I was in a coma for 2 months and they didn't know if I would walk or talk again. But I just kept moving. I did what was asked of me and I was determined to get as much of my life back that I could. I can walk and talk now. I'm back to working and driving. Just kept moving. Do more tomorrow than what you did today! Just keep moving!

Today is the day I was found unconscious a year ago. It's weird because it's been the longest shortest year of my life. I'm about 85% of who I was (still working on that). I've learned to make my wishes known (I live alone) and to always keep my word (it's why I was found so quickly). I'm back driving and back to work and it all feels so surreal. I guess I just want to say just keep moving. They didn't know if I would ever walk or talk again. Was in a coma for 2 months. I just kept moving.Dont take the small things for granted because they lead to big things. Just keep moving!
