Help remembering names of a couple pastiche novels
I have read and listened to a lot of pastiches in the last 20 years or so. There are two that really stood out, but I cannot remember the names of them.
One is a Holmes v Jack the Ripper book in which >!Jack is a policeman and Holmes agrees to keep it quiet to avoid rioting, iirc.!< This was nice change in ending from the Royal Ripper ending that is popular because it allows Holmes to solve the mystery but also explains why the solution is not given to the public.
The second book is one involves an organized group providing children to wealthy pedophiles. It was dark, but very good.
