I was recently gifted a couple of speakers from my father. There is a pair of Cambridge Soundworks Tower II's and some smaller bookshelf-looking speakers that appear to be from a surround sound setup. I have a relatively small place, and I was wondering if you had any ideas for powering everything. I have an older Yamaha receiver. I tried using an RCA to aux converter paired with an aux to USB-C converter with my phone to no avail. It is possible that the aux converter was broken. I was able to get the radio to work. I was wondering what sorts of recommendations you have for powering the receiver, or if you think getting a new amp/receiver would be better. I am not trying to get the very most out of them, as they are older speakers, and I don't plan to be blasting them in the small room.
