11 Interviews Later, Still No Job — Starting to Lose Confidence as a Junior Laravel Developer

I’m 24(M) from Karachi.
I’ve always been a good student, a good son, and someone my family had a lot of hopes from. They always believed I’d do well in life because somehow I always managed things.

After graduating, I started learning Laravel seriously and worked really hard on myself as a developer. I’ve now given around 11 interviews for junior Laravel developer roles.

The confusing part is that most interviews actually go well, but after that I either get rejected or never hear back. I usually ask around 50k for junior positions, which I think is reasonable.

After failing again and again, I’m honestly starting to lose confidence in myself. Sometimes I feel like maybe I’m not good enough, or maybe references matter too much in our software industry and I simply don’t have connections.

It hurts more because my family still believes in me, and I don’t want to disappoint them.

If anyone has advice, interview tips, or knows any openings/references for a junior Laravel developer, please comment or DM me. I’d genuinely appreciate it
