Hey everyone this might honestly be a pretty dumb question, but I just want to make sure and I'm mostly curious and can maybe be useful for someone in the future.
I recently applied for a Retail Warehouse Associate position at Best Buy, and I got an email from a hiring specialist or someone corporate idk, who scheduled me for an in-person interview. The email looks legit (verified sender, official email, etc.), and it says I’ll be meeting with the store leaders at the location. What I find a little kinda werid is that in the past when I worked for seasonal at a different Best buy location near my house as well here in California (and for my friends who work there), we always got a phone call directly from someone at the store to schedule interviews. This time it was all done through email, which I’m assuming is someone from corporate not actually from the store. My friend said I should be fine as it's an official email etc, but he's gonna ask today when he goes to work if they do this now as he was also kinda confused, but I just wanted to double check on here since maybe this is normal now of varies location to location. But hopefully we all good when I show up.
Thanks in advance and sorry for my long post :( just very curious honestly.
