Let me put on my prophet hat for a minute:

  1. The "writing code is basically free now" party is ending. All the AI providers - Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc. - are going to stop subsidizing the real cost of code generation. The subscription model we have today will mostly disappear, and these companies will shift primarily to pay-per-use pricing. Compared to current subscription costs, we're talking a 10-30x jump.
  2. Single-digit-employee startups, or even founders-only startups, will become the majority of successful new companies - not the exception. Small teams leveraging AI are going to dominate the next wave.
  3. Fractional CXOs (Fractional CMO, Fractional CPO, even Fractional CEO) will explode as an industry. Experienced executives who know how to leverage AI in their domain will be able to serve multiple companies in parallel - and the economics finally make sense.

Thoughts? Am I way off, or does this track with what you're seeing?
