I'm currently taking Math 142 but things aren't looking so good and I may have to retake it over the summer. There is still a chance I may pass and I am still studying and preparing for the final, but this is if I absolutely nail the exam.
The issue I am runnning into is I can't register for Math 142 over the summer since I am currently enrolled in it, which makes sense. However, I noticed there are around 13 open seats available out of 100, and 10 waitlist seats available. This worries me because in the scenario that I retake it, I don't think there will be open seats available once the semester is over. Retaking it during the fall would push back my graduation a semester and I would run out of funds.
I spoke with my advisor and was informed I either drop my course and enroll for the summer course, or wait until the semester is over and grades are posted to register for the summer. I am using my GI Bill so dropping the course isn't an option. I have thought about retaking it at Pellissippi, but my grade wouldn't be replaced.
I plan on speaking with my advisor again to see if there is anything that can be done, but I just wanted to see if anyone here has any advice or has been through a similar situation, or recommends I contact the instructor or department.
