Hello all,

Summary:
I want to learn how to play the blues where do I get started? What type of scales and licks should I learn? How deep into music theory to get? Should I learn the different modes?

I was always mostly a rhythm guitarist at church playing basic songs with normal chord progressions. (Think 10,000 reasons, cornerstone, allot of Chris Tomlin)

I know the A-minor Pentatonic scale in all 5 positions but in my head it’s just a scale and I don’t know how to go from a scale to actual music if that makes sense.
