After losing half of my hair to an autoimmune disease I was desperate to cover my hair until it grew out to an acceptable length. I located Irresistible Me wigs through an online search and purchased a mid-length wig that was advertised as 100% human hair that was 18" in length and was also advertised as being dyeable.
What I received was an excruciatingly abhorition of what was advertised! In places, the wig was 24", with the back so bare of hair that the front and top portions had to be back-combed in order to cover the back wefts. In addition, the blonde highlights were nothing but singular wefts sewn in between the garish purple-red wefts. As a former cosmetologist, I attempted to add color in order to blend in the blonde. However, the wig refused to accept color even after attempting to remove any industrial residue with a clarifying shampoo. When that failed, I attempted again using vinegar and baking soda, to no avail. I finally resorted to Dawn liquid detergent, with no luck!
I finally gave up and contacted the business and was accused of damaging the wig hence causing hair loss. The Irresistible Me contact person then accused me of damaging the wig by bleaching it, which is entirely false!
My goal is to expose the shady practices of this business to the public so that others do not fall into the same trap as I by the misleading false advertising practices and horrendous quality of wigs that Irresistible Me promotes as quality!
