I’ve been RB11 for awhile and enjoying the mode so far, but getting to RB11 wasn’t hard until NOW trying to get to RB12, now In total I have scratch out 5600 upgrade chips while picking up 1 off the floor while roaming and having a chance of getting 7-8 from a crate.
I started out normal buying from the belt and upgrading my base and droids, after I started sending Astromech droids on missions and upgrading my base. It was up until RBsomething when I hit a point where I can drop credits and make it back straight away with all my droids. When I wanted to start rebirthing I started bulk buying rare and epic gold/diamond/rainbow droids and just threw them on the street in case I needed to craft one of them and use them for a rebirth and in my experience so far they don’t disappear after being left on the floor. Now I repeat the same thing again from RB7-Now but the only difference is now they’re demanding epic AND LEGENDARY diamonds/rainbows
If anyone has any other ways of getting upgrade chips quickly and efficiently that’d be a massive help.
My rule of thumb so far is relying on my mythic astromech droids on missions and hope when they come back with legendary rainbow droids for future rebirths. I take guns and a jet pack to circle around the map clockwise/anti doing any REPAIR or BATTLE events, they literally spawn over and over again so I’m never out of events, if my worker Droid gets that glitch where it won’t repair I switch to an Astromech Droid and do the Astromech event, the only difference is that the Astromech event stays in the one spot and I don’t know in my opinion the respawn rate for the event is the same time or if not faster than the repair events so I’m always busy.
With public servers I do the same exact thing but I feel like I get more crate drops due to helping randoms do the events. This only happens on battle and astromech events. I usually circle around and when I see a random doing an event I’d eliminate a trooper or two and when the random finishes we both get a crate to our selves and in a lobby of six you can do wayyy more events when you’re all spread out and timing your arrivals on their event to get yourself a crate or if not you could try plan out a run with a squad or something.
Trying to reach the requirements for RB12 sounds hard but it is definitely possible… my main goal has been to try and rebirth as much as I can before going to work this week. But grinding upto 5600 upgrade points sounds so draining we’ll see how it goes from here hopefully there’s a rework in the future.
