As we know Pooran was at his six hitting best at number 3, there was no reason for them to change that and put Pant at number 3. To fit him at 3 they have made all sort of changes like Ayush to open and even Markram’s position was changed. Today Pooran was back at 3 and look what he did. If pant was the biggest match winner in the team then it would make sense to make changes according to his preference but honestly his t20 stats have been quite abysmal. I think this was very selfish. They have ruined a potentially scary top order for a player. His captaincy too is far from inspiring to say the least.
