Today i was at the Pen Center and an older lady was coming out of the dollarama and she went to step over the curb and walk through the path the garden, her heal caught the back of the Curb and she fell flat and on the other side of the garden and hit her teeth and face on the opposite curb (The sharp angle Side).
I was coming out of the main entrance with my daughter and saw the whole thing. I screamed are your ok while running as fast as I could over to her to help her, how hard and flat she fell, and the fact she wasn't moving.. i thought she was a done.... I offered to call an ambulance, and she said she would be ok, she was just worried about being dizzy and her teeth, she was spitting out blood, .. I sat with her holding her up for about 10 min and offered to driver her back to her home. she was so sweet. and me and my daughter helped her up to her car and she was ok in the end.. she gave me and my daughter a big hug and thanked us for helping her. it was so sad such a nice lady..... it was so awful,
Then after it was all over it hit me that it was so horrible and disturbing.
There were about 10 people who saw her fall, and about 30 people passed while i was sitting on the ground with her and not one person did anything except stare some giggled as they passed.. there was a lady with a hijab sitting 10 feet from her the entire time and she stared the whole time and never even flinched just sat there staring... I hope everyone enjoyed this poor lady's pain and humiliation.. what a bunch of jerks... its so sad that this is what the world has come too...
